In my school-time, we were there every year after Christmas, on New Year’s Eve until      „Holy 3 Kingson VACATION ar a  farmers house in „Steinhaus/a Semmering(Styria) and also on the „EASTER Holidays“


        Not only in summer, but also in winter, we took the POSTBUS  to the „Pfaffensattel“(Pass) and hiking  up to the REFUGE and  walk  from Mountain down.

I like/love the  funny  Post-Chauffeured !  All Winters with emmens a lot of SNOW -and the BUS had heavy SNOW-CHAINS at the back but likewise mounted at the front-tires !

The BUS was usually overcrowded with the school-children– so young mens+boys(like the SMOKE-COLLECTOR some times) rode along setting on the ROOF of the Postbus (luggage railings). The BUS was always struggling with a roar very slowly-also because of the exzessive severity- through the deeply snowy forest uphill. The Highlight for me, was like before we got in and before Post-Stop-Point and the switchbacks = his typical  loud-sound  Post-Horn Signal 😊

The POSTBUSDRIVER  handed  out Chocolate bars to all the Schoolchildren and  I   also always got a  „BENSDORP“🥰

I   like=love  the dear postillion so  much !

I have been Faszination by this profession – since I took the Postbus up the „Mountain  Grossglockner“-and every year herein too.  A secret-wish= I also to become license POSTBUS-Chauffeur once.

But  during  the  military-time, I got the finishing  Touch as an ARMY-MOTORIST

After the Military, I started working at a Vienna-Company on weekends as a „RENTCAR-Driver“ Shuttle-Service with Ford_Transit Buses and  also  Ford_Granada  to+from „Airport Vienna“ as  a „part-time job“

Rentcar=“Mietwagen“ [ MW ]          …. simulation to TAXI but with >fixed prices<


Later, when  I  had  the Taxi-Driver’s professional Driver-License and optionally RENTCAR+TAXI part-time as well full-time,    I built up  a customer-BASE for the frequent Flyers   myself ( permanent monthly / 14-days / often weekly  FLY-Passengers ).

In Addition, I cooperated with HOTELS and Guesthouses for orders  for required AIRPORT-Transfers/Sightseeing/Evening- Service(Musical/Theater/Wine-Tavern+more)

I can  mention  a  number of Companies,  University-Professors and the Commuting of Members of the „European Union“ as satisfied  regular COSTUMERS ( reliability / punctuality / fixed prices / helpfulness / my own little comfortable and wellgroomed

Even Bausparkasse WÜSTENROT_ from Salzburg (Headquarters) and RAIFFEISEN-Bausparkasse and Diplomat’s, „JULIUS  MEINL(Headquarters)“, „BRAUN“….

As a family-business, we had the LICENSES for TAXI ( TX ) / MIETWAGEN ( MW ) / COURIER SERVICE ( KT ) and  others.


I  was asked  by  PASSENGERS and also Taxi-Colleagues = „Why  I had  never  OVERSLEPT before — or forgot an appointment ?“

Due to the fact that we had not only          Taxis ( TX ) but also  RentCar-Consent (MW) could  my Wife  or a  Daughter ( years later )  also  make  AIRPORT_ travel-orders.


My family chanched their place  of  residence a  few times = in order to get to the School+ Academy of our children faster and easier in the same District or „neighboringDistrictof  Vienna.

I  distributed our  BUSINESS-CARDS  in rough quantities  not only  to many friendly TAXI-Passengers, but also in MAILBOXES or DOOR-Buckles, Private Cars, in Hallways on the SCOREBOARD ….. where  I  already had other FLY-Passengers of  where I  went for  walk with our respektive DOG !

Nearly  in the  Districts from the old and New Family-Residence  and   central and short access  to selected  and  advertised Districts.


Our family-Business won many new Flight- Passengers through Recommendations

(1) COLLEAGUES  from the same Company

(2) ON-BOARD  Passengers                              as  frequent-FLYERS, the same PEOPLE are often ….. you know each other and get into     a  conversation

OR the ordered TAXI (directly) or TaxiCall is  NOT  WAITING( ! again ! ) at the Airport


So even my regular Customers have often INVITED  the  desperate  other  Flight-Passengers = ENCOURAGED  to be taken  home  by  m e  together !

So  I  had  unexpectedly gained an additional INCOME and 100% happy NEW Customer !


In  Addition to the advantage of having several comfortable seats and also messenger-Service(also from LOST&FOUND Corner /Airport_Meeting Point) or to accommodate a lot  of  luggage …. it was very pleasant for myself-but especially for all my Flight-Tourists = to be able to drive briskly from the ARRIVAL HALL( without steps, elevator, hike …. searching 😬 ) to the BUS Parking LOT and only a few steps to  the  cool  CHRYSLER  Grand  VOYAGER !

In  Addition, I was able to buy  many inexpensive PARKING-LOTS (Tickets) as    a  „MINIBUS“ from the Airport-Direktion in advance and was able to SAVE some !



Taking care of more and more REGULAR Flight-GUESTS– LED to the fact, that appointments  were  often  received  as       PRE-Orders at different Pick-Up Addresses at the same  time. In order to have to CANCEL or  even LOSE  a  regular-customer –                   gave me  an  IDEA !

The  SOLUTION to the problem  would  be      a  separate  RADIO-CONTROL Center !

„Radio-Operation (TAXICALL) and awarding of  CONTRACTS  to  third-party TAXI-Owners(Operators) or TAXI-DRIVERS requires their own BUSINESS LICENSE !

This is hiw  I  presented and explained my concern to the LAWYERS of the „Chamber of Commerce“ ( Handelskammer Wien ).

The  LAWYERS  supported my (this new)  Variant of professional  TAXI-DRIVING MEDIATION  with a recommendation  for issuing  a  Trade – LICENSE  🤩

(2)   5 times  I  drove this  customer,

        then   1 x  a  commisioned  TAXI

        8 – 10  times  I  drove  again 

        then   1 x  a  commisioned  TAXI

There were never any inconsustencies  and the COMMISSIONS  were promptly transferred to us / or  I  the  Colleaques    Cash Receipt from the  „Copy-Bad“Block“

👌 It  was extremely pleasant due to the timely  PRE-ORDERS  of frequent flyers-regular Customers = 2 fixed orders and we had the planning  for 3 – 15 days clearly arranged and were always looking forward to this monthly Airport-Transfer TURNOVER 👍
