I was not self-employed at that time and worked -any years- as a rental car chauffeur in VIENNA. The TEAM of the Thai FILM PRODUCTION consisted of the PRODUCER, the DIRECTOR, the ACTORS, the COOK and some STAFF people.
The filming locations were in VIENNA and the province of NIEDERÖSTERREICH. Depending on requirements, we used CHEVROLET-VAN, 1 or 2 FORD TRANSIT buses, MERCEDES limousine or MERCEDES stretch limousine (Pullmann). At the time, I was commissioned by the company management to support this MOVIEteam with all my possibilities as an organization manager.
[ 1 ] They really wanted to film in the „Volkspark + Kurpark LAAER BERG“. ( It was created from the site of the „Vienna International Garden Show 1974” ) They wanted to drive into the Meadows and also drive cars over steps ! 👍 I organized a letter of recommendation with a request for assistance and permission from the Thai Embassy = And with this diplomatic letter I personally contacted the VIENNA CITY HALL – in order to also receive a RECOMMENDATION / PERMISSION letter EXPRESS from the Vienna State Gqovernment. With these 2 officially signed documents, I was able to print the City Gardens Directorate and also later the Executive and other authorities and the film team received permission. Everyone was satisfied and enthusiastic ! 👍 For other SCENES, they wanted to film in the ARCADES of the VIENNA STATE OPERA. Here, of course, as in the pedestrian zone, the POLICE were asked for permission and asked to block the pedestrians •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• [ 2 ] After Mrs. Producer and Mr. Director were deeply surprised and convinced by me convinced= they approached me with a new PLEASE. You would like to shoot some scenes on the NASCHMARKT site (Marketplace_Zone). However, I am supposed to find STATISTS = namely AFRICANS (dark-skinned)_ who then also fight with each other in real ( Scuffle ) ??????? 🤭😖 ?????????? 🥵 Where am I supposed to conjure up “dark-skinned People” = we are in Austria – and I don’t know any Africans at all. Then I had a saving thought. I was friends with the singer + drummer „WIILLIE“ from the group „LES SABRES“ ( Yiddish Folk; 60s; Klezmer ) I knew that „WILLIE“ in the Vienna UNO-City(VIC)_a head office; is employed as an „AWAKE & SECURITYS Service“ Officer. After I spoke to him on the phone, he immediately told me – to ask the LIEUTENANT if he had a tip = in which restaurants AFRICANS like to go. I received an encouraging reply from him fairly quickly 😉 A MARRIAGE COUPLE – UNO employees owned a disco/bar „BOONOONOONOOS“ in Vienna – even near the NASCHMARKT. So nothing like going there !!!!!!! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ What can I say = this SECRET TIPP has also a very positive effect for me in terms of T A X I – bility and Sympathy. The THAILAND FILM TEAM was very satisfied and the owner of “BOONOONOONOOS” even offered me to work as a so-called house cab for his location in the future. The manager was a tall, likeable, typical dark AFRICAN and his deputy was an equally likeable TUNESIAN. If a TAXI was needed = I was number 1 . I was allowed to park BEFORE the Location = and so I had passengers from the DISCO and the staff after closing time. Some nearby restaurants and pedestrians also took advantage of my READINESS. They often bought me a CAFE or a drink and both managers as BARKEEPER made me a non-alcoholic cocktail. The special different mixed MUSIC alone appealed not only to me – but also many GIRLS ( and because of the Guys from many countries of the 2 Continents Africa + America ) ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• [ 3 ] F I L M S H O O T = in the province of LOWER AUSTRIA in the beautiful WACHAU 👉 Culturel Landscape “ DANUBE VALLEY”👈 World cultural heritage 🤧 “DÜRNSTEIN” and “AGGSTEIN” castle ruins 1192 The name „Dürnstein“ is mentioned for the first time when the K I N G Richard the Lionheart 🗡 was held prisoner from December 21, 1192 to March 1193. With the largest part of the ransom – 100,000 marks of silver (= (about 23 tons)- he was finally released as a prisoner in Dürnstein Castle. ▪︎~▪︎~▪︎ there were no great mobile phone networks yet ~ ▪︎~▪︎~ 🙏 🛏 🛏 🛏 The next task for me was to suddenly organize SLEEPING QUARTERS here 🍝🥘🍰🍻 🍷 We need a couple of STATISTS who are filmed eating in a typical restaurant and real CUDDLING 😜💋 🤔 oohh my god So I decided to cruise through the villages in the big CHEVROLET van (to look credible) And unabashedly from the handlebar window I asked : “Hello both of you – do you already have a program for today or would you have time ?” “ I am from a FILMTEAM- and shoot several SCENES nearby. We are looking for a few young STATISTS – all you have to do is eat in a restaurant and the Regisseur will explain the rest. If you’re really serious and not a scam – then we’ll be right behind you I Congratulations – such a chance + action is very rare. You must have friends – so 1 or 2 more couples = can you persuade them to take part? 😊Then please get on the bus and guide me to my friends☺ The young couples were all fascinated by the awesome CHEVY-VAN – and I left the excited extras at the location (restaurant) to shake hands with them many times. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• [ 4 ] On one day, the Pullmann Limousine also came to us in the Wachau (village DÜRNSTEIN) 😡 Due to a misunderstanding, after some time my colleague was sent back to Vienna by someone from the crew with the Mercedes stretch limousine😖😤 The producer begged me desperately = you still need the PULLMAN – very important – I should stop the chauffeur and order him back via our TRANSMITTER/wireless device in the cars. Please ! Please ! They knew our car-call from Vienna. But the radio range extends only over Vienna and partly close surroundings. But the distance Vienna-Town to Dürnstein ~ 86km 😇 BRAINSTORM I jumped into one of the company cars and was looking for the next GENDARMARIE (rural Police)-Station “ I explained to the officers what problem we have and how annoying this is for the shooting !!!!! And I have an idea and a big request to the gendarmerie “ The police have a strong radio – could you please let the next post or colleagues know — he should stop the > black Mercedes-Pullmann Limousine < heading for VIENNA and send it back to the film crew. Please dear INSPECTOR !” okay we are happy to help “And when I was still in the guard room = a motorcyclist got in touch and informed me = the rare long Limousine was just passing by ………. hihihihihi and he will carry out a traffic control ……… hahahahaha” Incredibly fast was my colleague with the Pullmann- shaking his head- back
✊Colleague : “ But you gave me a fright “ 🤜 The Gendarmarie – Inspector has made me quite ready = but it’s just fun – Great idea from you ! 🤐 The inspector was racing in front of me on his motorcycle with his BLUE LIGHT so that I could be with you faster !!!! T H A N K Y O U !
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• [ 5 ] The Regisseur came to me with the cameraman and told me that the actors had discovered a motor ferry (ZILLE) – nearly. An enrichment in the film would be a scene right on the river. But this little boat(ZILLE) is too small and restless when filming- and danger ! It is a great pity, because it would be a great scene to film the up and down ships on the DANUBE close up ! 👌 “Then I’ll take you DANUBE_upstream – there’s a big ROLLING FERRY there !” The ROLLING FERRY was convincing. However, they wanted to book the ferryman SOLO except for the scheduled crossings and he should STOP in the middle of the river. 🤠 The captain finally agreed = after I gave him a box of BEER It was exciting for me to watch when the ROLLING FERRY suddenly stopped quite close to the TOW BARGES > with a loud SHIP’S HORN blowing < The cargo ships were surprised and did not know each other – they can’t BRAKE __ but EVERYTHING is under control. Once it got tricky – 2 ships crossed each other – the ROLLING FERRY stopped just in the middle of the river. But the captain of the ferry quickly swerved IN front of the ship coming up very slowly stomping towards the berth. These are the advantages of a ROLLER FERRY = (hanging on the rope !)
in BUNDESMINISTERIEN, ZOLLWACHE, KAMMERN,PHARMA-Betriebe,Labors etc. hatte ich etliche ANZÜGEundemens viele KRAWATTEN sowie Kombinationen.
Es heißt ja, der erste Eindruck gehört
auch dazu = ob es zu einem ABSCHLUSS
kommt. [ ich war einmal mit meiner Gattin
bei einem NEUWAGEN-Markenhändler.
Der Autoverkäufer hatte ein E I S – Tüte
in der Hand = und schleckte genußvoll weiter
während er ? versuchte ? neue Modelleuns
zu zeigen. ]

■ Ich fühlte eine gewisse Reserviertheit gegen mich (? Snob ?) bzw. war es meinen GEGENÜBER ( Kunde ) peinlich ! Der „Gefrackte“ hat noch nie hart gearbeitet !■

SAKKO ausziehen“ …. UND nahm meine
KRAWATTE vom Hals und öffnete den
obersten Knopf meines Hemdes.
Nach AUSWERTUNG und BERECHNUNG in der Versicherungs-Mathematik durfte ich auch für diese FIRMA ein >OFFERT< übermitteln – und beim 3. Besuch eine notwendige ABFERTIGUNGS-Versicherung abschließen.

Es sei erwähnt, daß die Erfolgsquotebei EMPFEHLUNG sowohl Privatleute + Firmenhöher liegt ( es beginnt ja schon für eine Fixierung eines Beratungstermines ….. )

Jeder kannte dieses gelbe coole AUTO, manwusste WER es besaß …. es war ein BLICKFANG ….. gut sichtbar geparkt in der jeweiligen MILITÄRKASERNE
Ich ließ ein KLAPPFENSTERoffen = und ich fand oft einen ZETTEL ( …. bitte kommen sieObjekt / Stock / Zimmer / Herr sowieso ) …. oder eine SCHADENSMELDUNG etc.
Angeblich war ich gerne gesehen = wurde respektiert wie ein FÄHNRICH …. und gewann Sympathien bei Unteroffizierenund sogar freundschaftlichen Offizieren.

Anläßlich meiner INFORMATIONS-Stunde für Präsenzdiener verwendete ich OVERHEAD-FOLIEN es wurde mir überall ein PROJEKTOR zur Verfügung gestellt !
Auch konnte ich schon damals ( vor vielen, vielen Jahren ) T-SHIRTS mit dem Emblem der jeweiligen KOMPANIE + Waffengattung ( sogar Brust, Rücken + Ärmel Design ) in AUFTRAG geben und produzieren lassen. [ Kontaktperson war meistens Wi-UO ]
Ich habe sämtlicheKASERNEN + OBJEKTE in der Garnison WIEN betreut und weitete die Beratungstätigkeit aus = auch auf die POLIZEISCHULE in Wien sowie die ehemalige GENDARMARIESCHULE (Rennweg-Kaserne + Zentralschule Mödling)
